The warranty does not cover general wear or damage caused by misuse or extreme wear, improper care, animal damage, and third-party alterations or modifications. General wear is the natural breakdown of materials and fibers over a long period of use. Things like slight fraying, color fading and stains are signs of a well-loved Stormy Kromer with lots of character and is not considered defective.
